North East Malekula Area Council

The North East Area Council is one of the ten Area Councils in Malampa Province.

The Area Council Headquarter is located in Orap Village in North East Part of Malekula Island.

The area council administrates a total Population of six thousand six hundred and seventy five people.

This data was collected at 2020 through the statistic census, but the updated population may be increasing after the recent National Census. The total households of East area council are one thousand one hundred and fifty.

There are 26 Villages which also includes 4 off shores islands. People live on the island which is Atchin, Vao, Rano and Wala.
