Administration Unit
The Malampa Provincial Government Administration is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Provincial Government and implementing the policies and decisions of the Malampa Provincial Government Council. Led by the Secretary General, the Administration provides leadership, coordination, and support to government services across Malampa Province.
Working in partnership with national government ministries, Area Councils, development partners, traditional leaders, and communities, the Administration is committed to delivering efficient, transparent, and accountable public services that improve the quality of life for the people of Malekula, Ambrym, and Paama.
Our Functions
- Implement the decisions and policies of the Malampa Provincial Government Council.
- Coordinate the delivery of government services across the province.
- Support the work of Area Councils and community development initiatives.
- Manage provincial finances, administration, and human resources.
- Coordinate infrastructure and development projects.
- Promote agriculture, fisheries, tourism, trade, and economic development.
- Strengthen disaster preparedness and climate resilience.
- Facilitate partnerships with government agencies, development partners, NGOs, and the private sector.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and good governance.
- Provide accurate and timely information to the public through official communication channels.
