Presidential Unit
The Presidential Unit of the Malampa Provincial Government provides strategic, administrative, and protocol support to the President of Malampa Province. The Unit plays a key role in coordinating the President's official functions, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and ensuring the effective implementation of the President's priorities and the decisions of the Malampa Provincial Government Council.
Working closely with the Secretary General, Provincial Administration, Council members, Area Councils, national government ministries, development partners, and community leaders, the Presidential Unit promotes strong leadership, good governance, and effective representation of the Province.
Our Functions
- Provide administrative and executive support to the President.
- Coordinate the President's official programmes, meetings, and public engagements.
- Prepare speeches, official correspondence, briefing notes, and reports.
- Manage protocol arrangements for official ceremonies, state visits, and provincial events.
- Coordinate communication between the President, the Provincial Government Council, government ministries, Area Councils, and development partners.
- Monitor the implementation of the President's priorities and Council resolutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and strengthen partnerships with communities, traditional leaders, churches, NGOs, the private sector, and development partners.
- Promote the image and interests of Malampa Province through official communications and public relations.
- Support strategic planning and policy initiatives led by the Office of the President.
- Ensure timely dissemination of information on the President's activities and key provincial initiatives.
